I am a current graduate student at George Mason University, and I am working toward my master's degree in Peace Operations with a focus on Infrastructure and Development. Before beginning my graduate studies, I earned a degree in Geographical Information Systems and Environmental Resource Management at Old Dominion University. I am most passionate about teaching Geography and Culture, but I also tutor many Math courses, Social Studies, Biology, and the other Sciences. I am currently also studying foreign languages, including French and Spanish. When I tutor, I think my greatest strengths are my ability to encourage students to succeed, my outgoing personality, and my boundless energy. I am also great at adapting my teaching style to fit every student's personal needs.Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being a volunteer working in a community outreach position where I help house homeless veterans, rehabilitate elementary schools, and refurbish local parks. I have over 10 years of experience leading how-to clinics at my workplace where I train new hires and managers. When not studying or tutoring, I love the outdoors. My favorite outdoor activities include kayaking, rock climbing, camping, hiking, gardening, snowboarding, and running. I also enjoy photography, playing paintball, watching movies, and painting.
